Teaching commitments
Biblical truth must govern the message. Tradition, popular teaching, and emotional appeal should never force a passage to say what it does not say.
- What Scripture explicitly teaches
- What is a reasonable biblical inference
- What is personal application or interpretation
Teaching areas
Current teaching work includes Kingdom mindset, honor, communion, marriage and family, leadership, the heart and mind, stewardship, and Mentoring the Hurt Man.
Ministry posture
The purpose is not spiritual performance or personal promotion. It is to serve people, strengthen the church, and point hearers toward truth, obedience, maturity, and Christlike character.
Mentoring the Hurt Man classes and groups
A Scripture-centered teaching and mentoring framework for reflection, personal responsibility and maturity in Christ. The main book and companion workbook support individual study, classes and men’s groups. Contact Richard to discuss format, audience and availability; no class dates or enrollment are announced here.
Selected teaching themes
Topics for discussion with Richard include stewardship and faithful preparation; the heart and renewal of the mind; responsibility and maturity; honor and servant leadership; communion; marriage and family. These are teaching areas, not an archive of verified delivered sermons. Scripture is read in context, with interpretation distinguished from application. Faithfulness does not guarantee a particular business outcome.
Invite Richard to teach
Email the host organization, audience, proposed date and location, topic, format and contact person. Richard will discuss fit and availability. An inquiry does not confirm an engagement. Verified recordings will be linked only when original media destinations are available.
Clear ministry boundaries
Ministry and mentoring serve biblical learning and spiritual growth. They do not provide medical diagnosis, psychotherapy or clinical treatment, and do not promise healing outcomes. Business service requests and employment applications follow their separate company paths. Ministry participation is not a condition of employment with Clean Cut or Seasons of Scents.
